Giveaway! Composers Activity Pak

Update: Ginger Storts of Seattle - You've won! Please send me an email via the link on the right. Your blogger profile is private, so I can't contact you!

Click for a special welcome for homeschoolers!

Homeschool in the Woods is a company known for its Hands-on History Paks. It’s newest one is on Composers! When you have a student who is waiting for a lesson, or when you want to do a music history project, this activity pak is a great tool and studio resource. Not only does it introduce 42 composers, the periods of music history, instruments of the orchestra, and several musical vocabulary terms, it also includes 29 movements of popular works – over 90 minute of listening on mp3 files. There are beautiful masters of pages for composer reports, a time-line, and detailed information about musical periods.

The Activity Pak sells for $18.95, but Amy Pak, the creative genius behind Homeschool in the Woods, will donate a free download of the Composers Activity Pak to one lucky reader of The Lowe Piano Studio Blog! Leave a comment between now and Monday June 8 at noon, EST for a chance to win. Blog about this giveaway, and leave a link to your blog post, and I’ll give you 5 extra chances to win. On Monday, June 8, I’ll use random.org to pick a winner, so be sure to check back!

The Composers Activity Pak does require a bit of assembly, but that’s part of the fun – and the learning. My daughter and I decided to make ours pink! Visit the Homeschool in the Woods site for a detailed description of the Composers Activity Pak.

Please enter me! I was just at the website and bookmarked this the other day! I would love it for my piano students as well as my own son (way down the road.) I think it's a fabulous set! My students really needs something physical to see the composers as more than just names and dates.
